Our organic wool is spun, dyed and woven in Biella, Italy and manufactured respecting the regulations of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This certificate limits the use of toxic bleaches, dyes and other chemical inputs during the entire process. Our fabric is produced in a mill that enforces strict social and environmental standards, treating their employees, product and the Earth with deep respect. The origin of the wool is Argentina. Mulesing is not a practice in this country and the sheep’s welfare is guaranteed throughout the process.
For the lining, our yarn is produced by Lenzing in Austria. Lenzing produces the most sustainable lyocell in the world: Tencel. Our lining is then spun, dyed and woven in Portugal.
Our buttons are made of dead Water Buffalo horns. The bulls are raised in India as domestic animals and they provide great benefits in agriculture. The horns are by-products which are often wasted. The buttons are certified with the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX. This ensures that the trims do not contain or release harmful substances to your health.
Our main and care labels are made of organic cotton. Both the tape and the ink print are certified with the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX. This ensures that the trims do not contain or release harmful substances to your health.
Our construction thread, which is used to stitch the garment, is made of 100% organic cotton.
