Material
Our wool is carefully sheared, spun, dyed and woven in the mountains of Portugal. The color is natural, the fabric hasn’t been dyed, directly from the sheep into your closet. Mulesing is not a practice in this country and the sheep’s welfare is guaranteed throughout the process.
For the lining, our yarn is produced by Lenzing in Austria. Lenzing produces the most sustainable lyocell in the world: Tencel. Our lining is then spun, dyed & woven in Portugal.
Our buttons are made of dead Water Buffalo horns. The bulls are raised in India as domestic animals & they provide great benefits in agriculture. The horns are by-products usually wasted. The buttons are certified with the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX. This ensures that the trims do not contain or release harmful substances to your health.
Our main and care labels are made of organic cotton. Both the tape and the ink print are certified with the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX. This ensures that the trims do not contain or release harmful substances to your health.
Our construction thread, which is used to stitch the garment, is made of 100% organic cotton.
